Coach Jay currently serves as a Varsity Flag Football Coach at Oasis High School in Cape Coral and also coaches three i9 Sports Flag Football teams. Over the course of eight seasons, he has helped lead his teams to five championships.
He works with athletes ages 7–18, helping them build skills, confidence, football IQ, and leadership on and off the field.
Coach Jay believes sports can teach much more than just skill. They can teach discipline, confidence, resilience, leadership, and how to respond when things get hard.
The Standard was built to create an environment where athletes are challenged, encouraged, and developed the right way.
The mission is simple: help athletes get better every day through consistent work, strong fundamentals, and the right mindset.
This is a coed program built for athletes who want to learn, compete, and grow. Girls are welcome and encouraged to join as they continue developing for school teams and leagues across the area.
This range of experience allows him to coach both developing athletes and players preparing for more competitive levels of the game.
The NFHS Coach Certification Program is a national professional credential offered to individuals who are currently coaching or aspire to coach at the interscholastic level.
Coach Jay has also completed the required Level 2 background screening through the school system in order to coach.
